Please join Trish Washburn, Education Specialist, for Parent to Parent of NYS, as she presents a webinar on What is Section 504? This training will teach parents the difference between Section 504 and IDEA. Section 504 is a Civil Rights legislation which prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities. Children who qualify under this law receive services and/ or accommodations in the public school system without being classified under IDEA/IDEIA and their school district’s Committee on Special Education.
Please be advised that only the first 100 participants who log on will be able to attend.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
