Please join Tina Beauparlant, Regional Program Manager/Education Specialist, Parent to Parent on Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. This training will teach parents the difference between Section 504 and IDEA. Section 504 is a Civil Rights legislation which prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities. Children who qualify under this law receive services and/or accommodations in the public school system without being classified under IDEA/IDEIA and their school district's Committee on Special Education.

Contact Shannon McCracken at 716-675-0239 with any questions.
