PTAC, Mid-South ECDC and Capital District ECDC present a two-day conference "Teaching Self-Regulation to Children", featuring Jeanine Fitzgerald, Human Behavior Consultant and Specialist as well as Lenny Grozier, Early Childhood Professor at SUNY Broome. The conference will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day with a one hour lunch on your own from 12 to 1 p.m.


The first day of the conference is titled "Different Children Different Needs" presented by Jeanine Fitzgerald who will be discussing the unique strengths and each child brings to the world and how we can relate and interact with the child to promote their strengths.


The second day of the conference is titled "Play: Unifying the Mind, Body, and Spirit", presented by Jeanine Fitzgerald and Lenny Grozier. They will be discussing the importance of the unscripted moments in childhood, play. This presentation will also provide each participant with a make and take project to try at home or in the classroom.
