The Adaptive Teen Time at the Brooklyn Public Library offers teens with and without disabilities the opportunity to learn skills and make friends in a collaborative environment that promotes creativity and critical thinking skills.

 

Play a game, create music or make a new friend at the Adaptive Teen Time Progam.

Adapt Community Network presents the free workshop How to Address Busing Issues on Thursday, Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Learn how to address problems that can arise when students with disabilities are bused to and from school. The late arrival and drop off of children from the bus and concerns about behavior will also be discussed. This workshop will be presented by Ruth DiRoma, Family Educator - Include NYC formerly RCSN.

Adapt Community Network presenta el taller gratuito Cómo hacer frente a los problemas de autobuses el jueves 10 de agosto de 10 a.m. a 12 p.m. Aprenda a manejar los problemas que pueden surgir cuando los estudiantes con discapacidades son transportados hacia y desde la escuela. También se discutirá el retraso en la llegada y la salida de los niños del autobús y las preocupaciones sobre el comportamiento. Este taller será presentado por Ruth DiRoma, Educadora Familiar - Incluye NYC anteriormente RCSN.
