The Adaptive Teen Time at the Brooklyn Public Library offers teens with and without disabilities the opportunity to learn skills and make friends in a collaborative environment that promotes creativity and critical thinking skills.

 

Play a game, create music or make a new friend at the Adaptive Teen Time Progam.

  • Creating and Individualized Education Program (IEP) to help your child succeed in school
  • Signs and symptoms of learning delays and attention deficits
  • Tui Na massage and how it can help with ADD, ADHD, Autism and Asperger's Syndrome
  • Resources to support your child's learning and development

  • Early warning signs and screening tests for vision and oral health
  • Treatment options and next steps if your doctor suspects and abnormal condition requiring early intervention
  • Resources for your child when they age out of the Early Intervention program
